Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s La Troupe de Mademoiselle Églantine (1895–96) is a vivid lithographic poster that captures the energy and spectacle of Parisian nightlife at the fin de siècle. Created to promote the troupe’s performance at London’s Palace Theatre, the work portrays four can-can dancers in mid-kick, their dynamic silhouettes and flowing skirts evoking both rhythm and exuberance.
